An Action Thriller uses physical action to create suspense within the film. Like a traditional action film, this sub genre will often have continuous motion and action which could include stunts, fights, races or even battles. Plots written in an Action thriller usually involve a typical theme of heroes and villains, which could include weapons. Most action films include forms of gore and violence, which are usually characters involved in wars and battles, like for example 300 as shown below including a battle. This sub genre consists mainly of super hero marvels which has widely become very popular and common, like Superman and Batman, there's definitely a high demand of these types of films because they are mainly re makes of original films. The main demand for films like this are the high intensity of action, which keeps the audience peeled, that's why directors of films usually concentrate on this, rather than the actual plot. In action thriller films we usually  associate them with having suspenseful and atmospheric soundtrack leading up to a tense situation which builds up the audiences fear. Why I like it?: I loved the constant action, even though I didn't fully enjoy the plot of the film, the fast paced action is what this film is all about and that's why I liked it. The film contains great cast of actors. Christian Bale is fantastic as the lead role and his action makes the whole movie far more realistic. Michael Cain is also brilli
ant he gives such a powerful performance. Tom Hardy as Bane is terrifying completely frightening; " Your punishment must be more severe." Anne Hathaway as Catwoman is a spooky and totally what I expected her to be like, just brilliant; "Come with me. Save yourself. You don't owe these people any more. You've given them everything."
